It is rather joyous to be in the Finnish forests. In Canada, already at the end of November, snare-traps are set out for wolves and conibears, big enough to crush a dog, are being laid down for wolverines. By then, hunting season is over for most dogs in North America and have to be kept on a leash, in a kennel-run or indoor for safety reasons; except for those who live on the trap-lines. Since conibears are banned in Europe, Pavel can roam the forest without worrying about hidden dangers.
My hobbies are backpacking, hunting, angling and mountain-biking. I am passionate about sustainability, evidence-based conservation and living a simple, local lifestyle.
